AUSTIN, Texas — Working to promote the bison industry in the State of Texas, the Texas Bison Association announces it has partnered with Meng & Associates Inc. of Austin, Texas, for public relations and marketing support to promote bison ranching and bison products in the Lone Star State.
The Texas Bison Association is a non-profit organization founded in 1994 by bison owners and individuals concerned with the preservation and promotion of the North American Bison. Today, the TBA provides assistance in raising and producing bison and promotes the nutritional health aspects of the North American Bison to consumers.
“Buffalo ranching is an extremely dynamic industry and the demand for bison meat and other products is growing rapidly,” says Tim Frasier, president of the Texas Bison Association. “The TBA is committed to promoting the industry and opening new markets. We’re confident Meng & Associates can help us deliver that message throughout the State of Texas.”
Meng & Associates is a full-service marketing firm specializing in brand building and public relations and last year produced the inaugural edition of the Texas Bison Journal, the official publication of the Texas Bison Association. The magazine met with rave reviews and continues to deliver informative editorial to thousands of bison enthusiasts, consumers, ranchers, producers, retailers and industry professionals throughout the state.
“I’m very excited about our new relationship with Texas Bison Association,” says John Meng, president of Meng & Associates,. “The buffalo is a true American icon, and we’re eager to help get the message out and grow this industry.”
The TBA works closely with local producers to facilitate commerce and hosts several events during the year, including the Texas Bison Exposition held in November at the Stockyards Station in Fort Worth, Texas. The annual event features a trade show, live animal sale, the World Championship Buffalo Burger Challenge, and much more.
